Nicholas Bergmann

President | Partner

Nicholas serves as President of Capco General Contracting and brings more than 25 years of construction management experience to the organization. Since joining Capco in 2014, he has played a key role in strengthening operations and driving performance across all areas of the business through his extensive, hands-on industry knowledge and leadership. His experience includes the successful management of large-scale construction projects, oversight of budgeting and cost estimating, and development and implementation of project schedules and safety programs.

Nicholas is recognized for his ability to lead with strategic perspective while maintaining close attention to operational execution, resulting in strong client relationship and trusted industry partnerships. Under his leadership, Capco continues to be guided by its core values of integrity, dedication, excellence, and authenticity. He is committed to building a culture where those principle shape performance, strengthen relationships, and define the way the company serves its clients and partners. Outside of his professional responsibilities, Nicholas enjoys home improvement projects, maintaining an active lifestyle, traveling, and spending time with his wife and their two sons.

Charles A. Plunkett
Vice-President | Founder

Charles is both the Vice President and founder of Capco General Contracting. Charles got his start in the construction industry in 1982 working as a steel fabricator. Now, having served in the construction industry for over 40 years, Charles’s experience and expertise especially in the self-storage industry is unrivaled. Charles’ philosophy is “to provide the highest levels of quality and service at a fair price.” He prides his company on a favorable client-repeat rate as the result of the excellence delivered in every aspect of every project.

Charles has held numerous roles on business and professional boards and committees including the IBC College Board of Directors, the Young Entrepreneurs Association, and the Texas Self Storage Association.

Charles’s commitment to his work is just as important to him as his commitment to the community. Charles has given both time and generous donations to numerous organizations throughout his career including the Salvation Army, the San Antonio Food Bank, his church and Shriner’s Hospital.

When Charles isn’t in the office, you can most likely find him teeing off on the golf course. In addition to his experience in the construction industry, Charles earned his pilots license by the age of 17 and served as a lead guitarist in a band in the early 2000s.
