Charles A. Plunkett

CEO

Charles is both the CEO and founder of Capco General Contracting. Charles got his start in the construction industry in 1982 working as a steel fabricator. Now, having served in the construction industry for over 40 years, Charles’s experience and expertise especially in the self-storage industry is unrivaled. Charles’ philosophy is “to provide the highest levels of quality and service at a fair price.” He prides his company on a favorable client-repeat rate as the result of the excellence delivered in every aspect of every project.

 

Charles has held numerous roles on business and professional boards and committees including the IBC College Board of Directors, the Young Entrepreneurs Association, and the Texas Self Storage Association.

 

Charles’s commitment to his work is just as important to him as his commitment to the community. Charles has given both time and generous donations to numerous organizations throughout his career including the Salvation Army, the San Antonio Food Bank, his church and Shriner’s Hospital.

 

When Charles isn’t in the office, you can most likely find him teeing off on the golf course. In addition to his experience in the construction industry, Charles earned his pilots license by the age of 17 and served as a lead guitarist in a band in the early 2000s.

Nicholas Bergmann

COO – Partner

Nicholas has extensive experience in construction management across a number of commercial markets. He has brought this knowledge to Capco and has worked toward including additional markets such as office space, retail and warehousing to Capco’s portfolio. Nicholas displays a polished leadership style with a strong commitment towards leading teams to perform excellently and achieve goals in a competitive and rapidly changing industry. He manages budget and cost estimation for each project, demonstrates exceptional planning and organizational skills, and a proven ability to manage large-scale projects. Nick is dedicated to delivering every project on time or early.

 

Nicholas is a member of the Real Estate Council of San Antonio and he sits on the board for the Texas Foundation of Hope (TXFH.) Nicholas is greatly involved with TXFH and helps promote their annual Tee It Up for Hope Golf Tournament.

 

In Nicholas’s free time, he can be found starting a new project around the house and staying active. He also enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and their two sons.
